Each Fitra candle is hand-poured using a natural beeswax and soy blend. To ensure a clean, even burn and the full expression of fragrance, proper burn time is essential.

Full Melt Pool Required on First Burn

First time you light your candle, allow the wax to melt completely from edge to edge before extinguishing. This typically requires approximately 2–3 hours, depending on candle size and environment.

Extinguishing the candle before a full melt pool forms the first time you burn it may cause tunneling (wax remaining along the sides), which can affect performance and is not considered a product defect.

Why Full Melt Pools Take Time

Fitra candles are crafted with natural soy and beeswax. These waxes burn more gradually and intentionally than heavily modified wax systems.

We choose not to use unnecessary, and often toxic performance additives to artificially modify how the wax burns. As a result, achieving a full melt pool the first time may take a little longer, and is part of our commitment to purity, balance, and long-lasting performance.

For Best Results

• Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn

• Burn on a level, heat-resistant surface

• Keep away from drafts

• Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time

• Allow wax to fully solidify before relighting

With proper care, your candle will burn evenly, release fragrance beautifully, and maintain its refined appearance from first light to final glow.
